High blood pressure more likely to affect pregnant women with     hypertensive disorders   Pregnant women diagnosed with hypertensive disorders are more susceptible to high blood pressure in the first year after delivery as compared to women who did not have any pregnancy-related hypertension . Disorders like Hypertensive disorders are very common in pregnant women. Around 10 to 12% of all pregnant women are affected with this disorder and include   hypertension, preeclampsia and eclampsia. According to various researches it is shown that hypertensive disorders during pregnancy is associated with long-term cardiovascular disease risk but very little is known about the effect of these conditions in the early years after delivery.
